lacquer - Better Control of Varnish in Rails Jump to Story

A few days ago, Russ Smith release lacquer, a drop-in library which provides more robust integration with Varnish from within Rails. It also ships with optional asynchronous job support - using Delayed Job or Resque - to automatically move the control of Varnish into the background of your application.
