Heroku Deployment Stacks Public Beta Jump to Story

Just recently, Heroku added deployment stacks as a public beta. It can be accessed via the heroku gem, with heroku stack and heroku stack:migrate. This is the answer you've been looking for if you want a fast deployment with something other than Ruby 1.8.6. Stacks currently support MRI 1.8.6, REE 1.8.7, and MRI 1.9.1.
