Evan Phoenix released version 1.0 of Puma, a Ruby webserver based on Mongrel which features less memory usage and higher concurrency than Unicorn or Rainbows! It can run on any Ruby interpreter but its use threading makes it a better fit for JRuby and Rubinius.
