JavaFX + Ruby? Jump to Story

Oracle published an article showing a demonstration of using JavaFX from within JRuby. Seriously. But since the Ruby core libraries don't really have an opinion about a standard desktop gui, JRuby can give us several good options - including Swing, SWT, and JavaFX. Ruby has always been an opportunistic language, 'gluing' stuff together for a better solution - if you have the need, this might be an interesting option.
