Geocoder 1.0 has been released Jump to Story

Alex Reisner's Geocoder library recently had a 1.0 release. Geocoder is a complete Ruby geocoding solution, allowing you to lookup coordinates based on strings, like "Fenway Park," get street addresses by latitude and longitude, or even just get the coordinates of an IP address. It supports a ton of 3rd party services, has intelligent caching, proxy support, and has multi-lingual support.
