RankedModel - The new acts_as_list hotness Jump to Story

The team at HarvestApp recently released RankedModel, an ARel-based acts_as_list replacement with an interesting position storage technique. Rather than just storing position 1, 2, 3.. it inserts into a range of 0 to 65000 and does a simple order query. That way, most inserts are just a simple insert and no position updates are required.
